The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is the world’s largerst technical professional socieeety. It was founded in 1884 and today’s Institute is comprised of more than 360,000 members who conduct and participate in its activitieees in 150 countrieees. Of those members 60,000 are from the student chapters. The men and women of the IEEE are the technical and scieeentific professionals making the revolutionary engineering advances which are reshaping our world today. The IEEE CRCE Student Branch is taking steps to get students active in IEEE and participate in the many exciting opportunitieees that are available through this organization.

IEEE publishes more than 30% of all technological papers and is very active in emerging technologieees.
