Placement

 The Training and Placement Cell of the Institute centrally handles all aspects of campus placements for the graduating students of all Departments. The Training & Placement Cell is well equipped with excellent infrastructure to support each and every stage of the placement processes. The Training & Placement staff members assist in arranging Pre-Placement Talks, Written Tests, Group Discussions, and Interviews etc. are made as per the requirements of the Organizations.

Awards

OM engineering college received 5 padagogical innovation awards in 2015.

Pedagogical categories like Best Innovative Tech-Event of State Manifest14' to Trustee Shri Prashant Kadiwar, Skill Development to Prof. M M Baraiya, Open Source Technology Environment to Prof. H K Gajera and Best Creative Teaching to Prof. I M Khan. An award  for Leadership and Excellence (i-SCALE) has receive by OEC student team.

Seminar/Workshops

More than 50 workshops/seminar and expert talks were organized by nvarious department of OM Engineering college like department of mechanical engineering organized non contact measuring techniques in space application, department of electrical engineering on transformer design, department of civil engineering -save water, department of computer engineering software freedom day and internet skill development and many more.. 

Industry Visits

More than 30 industrial visit were conducted in the academic year 2014-15 where students of OM Enggineering college gained practical knowldege of various application at national as well as international industries like jyoti CNC, Bisag, sumangal casting, synergy transformer, mundra port and many more..

 Technical events have remained at the heart of most popular events of OM engineering college where the institution have organized many technical events like manifest'14, prakiritOM, abhiyantOM,vyOM and DrawOM where more than 3 lakhs visitors have benifitted and appricited various innovation projects provided by students of OEC.

Skill Development Program

 OM Engineering College  has organized various workshops for specific branches like Civil- AUTO CAD, CE- JOOMLA, MECH- PRO-E, ELE- PLC.  
More than 300 students have taken benefited through various workshops conducted by various respective departments. And the Institutions has planned to organize such workshop on Skills Developments twice in  a semester not only for Engineering Students of OM Engineering College but others colleges Engineering Students as well.

Various department of OM Engineering college tie-up with national international bodies like computer department tie-up with CSi, OSTC, mechanical department ASME,IE, electrical department IEEE, etc.
